If you've been put off by the high cost of trailer mounted auger systems, but still have a lot of feeders to fill, you finally have an option, The Speed Feed Tailgate Feeder.

Not only will you save money by buying feed in bulk, but you will dramatically reduce both time and labor needed to keep your feeders filled.  You will also reduce the risk of injury associated with lifting bags to fill feeders.  If you are feeding protein, blowers generally cause less pellet damage than augers

This unit moves about 100 pounds per minute, and the carrying capacity is limited only by the load limits of your truck. Most truck beds will hold a lot more feed (by volume) than the truck is rated to carry, so be safe and don't overload.

The Speed Feed Tailgate Feeder Filler mounts across the back of any full size Chevy, Ford or Dodge pickup bed. It is very easy to install and remove.

It weighs about 100 pounds, so it is best handled by two people, but one person can do it with the proper rack to sit it on. We recommend you spread a tarp in the truck bed, then mount the Tailgate Feeder, and bulk load the truck bed with corn or protein. The tarp can then be pulled over the load to keep the feed from blowing out at highway speeds.

The blower mounts on the outside of the Feeder Filler. Initially the feed will gravity flow into the mixing chamber, then as the bed empties use a shovel or push broom to move the bulk of the remaining feed to the rear. Finally, just lift the tarp to slide the last of he feed into the opening.

Includes a 2 cycle (mix gas and oil) Shindiawa EB802 Blower. If you prefer a 4 cycle engine select the Shindiawa 8510 option in the box below, it adds $50 to the price.
